Signature moves

  • diya-ignite

    Lamps light from the centre outward: flame scales from 0 with a small overshoot while the halo and floor pool swell.

  • flicker

    Every flame flickers on its own irregular loop; halos breathe in brightness.

  • rangoli-bloom

    The rangoli opens ring by ring from the centre: each ring scales from .35 and unrotates from −50°.

  • garland-drop

    Marigold strands drop from above in a quick left-to-right ripple, then sway.

  • glow-reveal

    Type rises 26px out of a 10px blur; gold greetings get one shimmer pass after landing.

  • ember-rise

    Glowing embers drift up 340px with a gentle S-curve, fading in and out; gold glints twinkle in place.

  • glow-dissolve

    Scene change: a large flame-coloured radial glow blooms and fades while the scenes cross-dissolve.

  • gold-burst

    End-card celebration: 12 thin gold rays and 6 sparks radiate from a point and fade, like a soft firework.

Sound

Warm instrumental: sitar or santoor melody over soft strings and a gentle tabla/dholak groove; bells and a shimmer on the reveals. Celebratory, never frantic.

Voice

Warm, gracious, smiling (≈130 wpm), unhurried pauses. Greet first, offer second. Pronounce festival names correctly; avoid slang.
